Says Eric: “All three of us decided to come together for one major show for our UK and European fans, and it’ll be 4 hours of non-stop soul and R&B. ‘Honest music’, as Anthony and I like to call it.”
Eric, who gave a sensational performance at the recent Southport Weekender, guested on New Yorker Angela’s new album “A Woman’s Touch” with the up-tempo “Let Me Know”.
Anthony is currently climbing the Urban charts in the US with “Words”, a duet with fellow Atlanta artist India Arie. He is a wonderful, charismatic live performer who has played more than a dozen UK and European dates in the past four years, including a notable appearance on BBC 2’s Later…with Jools Holland TV show.
Angela first visited the UK as a member of the stunning New York jazz-funk-soul band Cooly’s Hot Box. Her acclaim has grown since she released her first solo album in 2002, They Don’t Know. Like Eric and Anthony, she is an outstanding live performer, playing keyboards as well as her featured vocal role.
Among the artists for whom Eric wrote songs earlier in his career are Jazzy Jeff and Jill Scott, who describes him as “a brilliant singer with a voice like red velvet cake”. He has released six albums independently on his own Blue Erro Soul label in the US – the two most recent albums, Left and The Collection are both released in Europe by Dome and you can pick up a copy at this website.
